I think, I'm getting demoted instead of promoted. Well, it's like this. If you saw my resume, it looks neat cause I was active in school, active meaning I wasn't only joining a lot of organization, I became the president of the organization. I don't really think I have the leadership skills, cause most of the time, I'm kinda not the type of person who boss around people and ask them to do things for me, most of the time I do them on my own to finish everything. I became the president and other positions because I was very very friendly to all the people and I had a lot of connections. I'm a people-pleaser. I like being around a lot of people, and hate being alone. And I was given the job cause the president was my friend, and the officers voted me because they trust me. I don't have a choice, but to help them. That's how I became the president/vice/bm/etc. But besides that, I never really wanted the position. Because I was scared. Same goes to the job I have right now. Architect Conrad, our supervisor wanted me to be a team leader and be part of the largest clients they're holding which is Robinsons Land Corporation. That's a big project, and I'm still a newbie, I'm very very very very very very scared to hold something like that. I even met the people from Robinsons and played badminton with them. They were all like 40-50s. They all treated me like a kid, which I really really despise. They even thought I did not know how to play badminton. Some of them talked to me in English cause they thought I was foreign. I wasn't having a good performance in the office, except that I became friends with everyone in the office, because they were all very nice, and I'm very happy that I've met them, and be a part of them, but performance wise, I was caught sleeping, eating, doing nothing in the office...lolz.

so anyways, Just recently, there was this new officemate who was my schoolmate, and we knew each other. He was a cumlaude, and had an award for one of the best thesis. And of course, he was better than me. I think he's getting the position being given to me. Which is actually a relief, cause I'm scared to hold something like that. But one thing I'm afraid of, is, Am i getting demoted or something? I'm scared I'll lose my job and be a bum. Things aren't really going well for me the past few days. And I've been working really serious right now. Except that I don't work overtime. I'm just scared cause I turned down being the representative of JOG in the tournament versus Robinsons. That's a saturday, next week. I love my saturdays, thats the day I get to spend time with my friends or make tambay kahit saan. And I was also planning to go to the dentist and applying for a leave that day. I didn't want to lose my saturday I love saturdays! except the freakin heat whenever I walk from the office to the LRT station during noon. But besides that, I get to see my friends, or if not, tambay ako somewhere with a book on my face or something.

I hope I don't get demoted. Cause my salary is below minimum...
